Born in Portland, Oregon, Joelle Marie Kelly has lived in Canada since 2007. She studied acting at the prestigious Atlantic Theater Company in New York City (2023), as well as improvisation at The Player’s Workshop of Chicago. 

Professionally, she’s worked in both the US and Canada, starring in plays such as Round the Bend at Salt Creek, 84 Charing Cross Road, and Women in the Line-up (one woman show). She did more than 200 performances of Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding for Hey City Theater, and played a bridesmaid in the film What the Bleep Do We Know? 

Joelle Marie studied audiobook narration with Patrick Fraley and Scott Brick, and has recorded several audiobooks.

Additionally, she’s an award winning novelist and screenwriter. Her book Restoring Harmony was adapted into the dramatic podcast, Handsome Molly, and her novel Speed of Life is currently being made into a feature film.
